The shore fishing in Namibia is legendary, with the prize being the bronze whaler shark. This fierce and hard fighting predator grows to over 700lbs, although the shore caught specimens weigh between 100 - 300lbs. A fight of several hours can be expected when a large one is hooked. All bronze sharks are tagged and released to aid conservation and to assist in research into the movements of these magnificent fish around the West African Coast and beyond.

Other species include the gully shark, cow shark and hound shark.

Edible fish such as the kabeljou and west coast steenbras provide excellent sport, growing up to 40lbs in weight.

Your guide will be the world renowned Terence Clark, the most experienced and successful fishing guide in Namibia. Former captain of the Namibian shore fishing team, his success rate is second to none.
