Strand and Veldt is based in the UK. We have over 10 years experience of arranging visits to Namibia and South Africa.
The UK operation is run by Ian Glendinning. He is a former UK Police Officer who recently retired after 32 years service. He has the following qualifications:
- Former Police firearms instructor
- Police rifleman
- Bodyguard
- Licensed by the UK Security Industry Authority as a Close Protection Operative
- Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists
- First aid qualified
- City and Guilds approved instructor
A regular visitor to Namibia, he has an in depth knowledge of the country and it's wildlife. Also an experienced angler and photographer, he can accompany you throughout your visit if required, or merely make all of your arrangements from this end.
